Nickerson Drive is a residential street in East Billerica running north about 950 feet from Baldwin Road, east of Allen Road, to a turnaround. It was laid out by the Nickerson-Foster Realty Trust, whose trustees were George L. Nickerson of Chelmsford and Tyler H. Foster of Burlington. In December 1967 the trust bought a lot on Allen Road, and a "Plan of Land in Billerica, Mass., owned by Nickerson Foster Realty Trust," drawn by Emmons, Fleming and Bienvenu, Inc. in December 1967 and recorded on March 29, 1968 (Plan Book 106, Plan 119), shows house lots on Allen Road and Baldwin Road with a 50 foot strip marked "Future St." running north from Baldwin Road.

The street itself was laid out on the "Definitive Plan of Foster Glen, Billerica, Mass., owned by Nickerson Foster Realty Trust," drawn by Emmons, Fleming and Bienvenu, Inc. in June 1968, approved by the Planning Board on September 19, 1968 and recorded on November 5, 1968 (Plan Book 107, Plan 155). It shows Nickerson Drive curving north from Baldwin Road to a circle, with Lots 8 to 18 of about 25,000 square feet along it. The names evidently come from the trust and its trustees: Nickerson Drive from George L. Nickerson and Foster Glen from Tyler H. Foster. The assessors date the houses to 1969 and 1970.

Nickerson Drive was among the streets submitted by the Planning Board and accepted as public ways under Article 40 at the annual town meeting of 1972. A motion at the annual town meeting of 1975 to spend $67,000 on drainage "in the vicinity of Allen Road, Nickerson Drive and Brookside Circle" lost, 57 to 59; Nickerson Drive is listed among the engineering department's drainage projects of 1976. The street was repaved in fiscal year 2017.
